The sheer number of shoe options we have today is unbelievable, and there seems to be a shoe for any need one could have. In this shoe climate, Converse wants to remind you that although they are over a century old, they are still the best in any situation. To do this, we decided to directly compare the Chuck Taylors to other popular shoe brands, showing that they still have it. The imagery, in a sort of visual pun, took a literal form in order to hyperbolize the comparison. The campaign has three comparisons, but has legs in that any shoe brand could be juxtaposed with Converse (and lose). These could be formatted for magazines, social media, web banners, out of home environments, and more.
